In the beginning we had a vast understanding of the sea and all of the great outings available, but now after three years, our members have discovered more than we could imagine. The following is running log of a sampling of popular and new outings from the field.

At the mouth of Little Marco Pass, just south of Naples Bay lies a beautiful peninsula of sand and seagrass, home to exotic birds and other wildlife. In addition to being a great spot for a dip or picnic – you are within a quick ride to Marco Island to explore, dine or shop. Now, with our new location in Naples Bay – you can quickly get to Little Marco Pass in less than hour and Marco Island just another 20 minutes south. |

Not just great for the beach, swimming, and birding, Cabbage key is also great for Cheeseburgers. Jimmy Buffet wrote “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” on Cabbage Key and once you visit, you will know why. The trip is great run up the coast. |

Just North of Palm Beach on the eastern shores of the Waterway is the JD MacArthur Beach State Park. On the southern end of the park is a small island off of Lake Worth Cove with a fantastic beach to relax by. Take in the scenery, have a swim and enjoy the wildlife while picnicking right off shore thanks to the Picnic Boat’s shallow draft. JD MacArthur Beach State Park is roughly 30 minutes north of the Palm Beach Yacht Club. |
